Mirror System Reflector

New soft minimal techno/electro beats Mirror System DJ Mix album.

As well as being an excellent live event, Mirror System play some wonderful DJ sets (as do System 7). This CD is a direct result of the success of those sets. It's soft and minimal grooves that blend the chilled Mirror System feeling with that of like-minded musical explorers. It's gentle and positive, is great fun and perfect Summer music.

Loads of luscious tracks here... System 7's Sal Del Mar and the Mirror System remix of Tripswitch's Cartwheel being particular favourites. Slightly more of a worry is that I feel I may have become addicted to the gently relentless track, Chicken Kiev - a sort grooving demented grandchild of that 70's synthi hit, 'Popcorn'!

10 - Union Jack There Will Be No Armegeddon   Stunning Debut Album from the now defunct Platipus records, first time i listened to this was in a record shop in Preston looking for ozric tentacles when the assistant put this on at rather high volume making the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, after all these years it still stands up to most of the modern so called trance even there follow up album released some 11 years later could not eclipse this release.

9 - The Orb Blue Room first heard this travelling back from a gorgeous day on lake Windermere, god job i wasn't driving as the sheer blissfulness actually zoned me out in to a different state of mind that very few records have ever done before. I have been a fan of the Orb since I'd heard  "A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain" on a pirate radio station in the late 80's most people dismiss the Orb for not writing songs what they consider as songs when actualy they create soundscapes and aural sculptures that are part of the mind

amazing trance

one of the best tracks i've heard in a long time is autumn lights by vibrashere very uplifting and lush sounds that are more uplifting than there last few albums.

well pain med is going OK not completely killing the pain but more like its pulling a vail over it sort of hiding it

yesterday i went to the docs to talk about pain relief as Tramadol Mr was effein useless so he gave me Tramacet basicly 70mg Tramadol combined with 650mg of Paracetamol every 6 hours its got quite a kick to it

Physio today

Damn that pain. my arm has improved 20deg in bending but still can't straighten it she did try though I'll give her that

well its been a tough start to the year after a nasty crash i had on dec 9 recovery is a slow process both my neck and arm were broken but i survived still in a lot of pain in my elbow and right hand feels just plain weired all i can think of is i have nerve damage in half of my hand as sometimes its hyper-sensitive or numb.
On the positive side i could be a lot worse off as for the car it didn't survive (see the pic above).
So tomorrow i have physio so pain ensues .
